Spitfires had an alarm that would go off if the throttle was closed without the landing gear being lowered. This amendment to the Authentikit Mk1a Throttle Quad reproduces that facility.
This chassis lever, or gear lever, plugs into the gear input of the AuthentiKit Universal Hub and is part of both the Spitfire MkIX and Spitfire Mk1A set of AuthentiKit flight controls.
This flight stick is for the famous Battle of Britain Spitfire Mk1A. It is interchangeable with the MkIX flight stick and connects to the stick input of the Universal Hub.
The Mk1A throttle quadrant differs from the MkIX in a few key areas notably an lever operated action which is required to enable Boost Cutout which later involved into War Emergency Power or WEP. The trim wheels also have a different design to the MkIX.
Our very first AuthentiKit flight control was the iconic "spade handled" Spitfire MkIX flight stick. This download is a "starter kit" containing the flight stick and Universal Hub needed to connect it to your PC.
