Universal Hub Starter Kit 1.3

If you haven't got a Starter Kit version of another flight control that includes the universal hub then this is what you need to connect your various AuthentiKit flight controls to your PC.

This download contains the following items:

  1. All 3D printable CAD files (in STL or 3MF) format required to print the parts for the universal hub
  2. Wiring diagram
  3. Bill of Materials - other hardware parts (bearings, screws etc) you will need
  4. Assembly steps

The Universal Hub is clamped to your desk by the monitor stand rig system. It has a single USB connection to your PC and supports the following flight controls:

  • Flight stick
  • Single engine throttle
  • Elevator trim
  • Rudder trim

This is the main assembly video.

  • On page 3 of the V3 wiring diagram, you state that the wiring is after you complete the spade grip build, the configuration is acceptable, then on page 4, you state, "remove unnecessary wiring". Are you actually saying this is an alternative option, to simplify the wiring for the spade grip?

Or do you mean that you must remove these unnecessary wires, to continue with the installation?

    • Hi. If you're building this for the first time there will be no unncessary wiring - that was for people who made a very early version from 12-18 months ago.

  • The name says it all

Like a hub in a wheel, this design brings all the various units together to work in simple plug and play design. The ability to easily switch units by unplugging and replugging using simple network jack is brilliant idea and makes for sleak and clean design to easily manage :/
