Spitfire MkIX

The first aircraft supported by the freeware AuthentiKit project was the Spitfire MkIX launched on December 5th, 2020 after a two year period of R&D. We received invaluable support from Alex Kassabian of Flying Iron Simulations who’s technical assistance helped make this flight stick so very close to the real thing. With it's iconic spade grip flightstick it is still the most popular AuthentiKit build amongst the community.

  1. Flight reference cards for the BBMF Spitfires MK356 & TE311
  2. Put yourself in the seat of a Spitfire flown by Sqn Ldr Mark "Disco" Discombe as he responds to a simulated engine failure emergency
  3. A replacement spade handle for the Spitfire MkIX stick with the dunlop classic Dunlop 'Crackle' grip designed in. Replace your existing spade grip or print clamshell add-on parts for existing builds.
  4. Spitfire Rudder Pedals for the MFG Crosswind (V3) including the pedals, adaptor and a solution for eliminating the toe brake.
  5. This add on kit includes not only the Spitfire MkIX throttle quadrant, elevator trim wheel and rudder trim wheel but also the connectors to the universal hub as well as the rig extension pole system to mount the flight controls just where you want them.
  6. Our first AuthentiKit flight control - the iconic "spade handled" Spitfire MkIX flight stick. This is a "starter kit" containing the flight stick and Universal Hub needed to connect it to your PC. Now also the mounting system parts for a monitor stand.
